Wheelchair Athletes

The Ranchos Los Amigos Sports program is no ordinary sports center. Here, the athletes are in wheelchairs. Some were disabled from activities as former gang members; others were born with special conditions. Many of them have experienced prejudice, but they are all gaining self-esteem in a place where they can bond as friends and teammates.
