Many schools, including Jefferson Elementary School in Los Angeles, have taken on the "full inclusion" program: putting disabled students in the same classroom as everyone else. For the most part, it is beneficial to the disabled children, as well as their classmates who learn to interact with them. However the budget is tight, and some complain that teachers are not trained to deal with special education students.
