Casa Alegria, a homeless shelter founded by the Salvation Army, provides a supportive community for people with HIV. It provides temporary and transitional housing, and even has permanent apartment-style units to help residents feel at home. The staff of Casa Alegria assists with medical problems and offer free day care and after-school programs.
