Class of 2015 Honolulu, HIJenna Pittaway is from the island of O’ahu in Hawai’i. She graduated from high school in Calgary, Alberta in Canada and returned to the University of Hawai’i where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English. She moved to San Francisco after graduating and worked for Apple there until 2012. Her next stop was Los Angeles, where she freelanced in film, producing music videos and web shorts. She quickly realized that she wanted to combine her passion for all things nonfiction with her newfound film skills to create documentaries.
