Tar Pits

Before people inhabited the city of Los Angeles, giant, mighty animals ruled this land. The La Brea Tar Pits house the bones of these ancient creatures. And the George C. Page Museum takes us back forty-thousand years to a time when Wilshire Boulevard was a playground, and a resting place, for saber-toothed cats and wooly mammoths.
