Senior Producer Michael Green introduces us to his grandparents' story of survival during the Holocaust. Each was ousted from the same small Polish town, and they recount the struggles that led them to finally meet each other years later in New York City.
The USC Shoah Foundation Institute is home to more than 52,000 interviews and testimonies from the Holocaust, nearly 70 percent of which have already been digitized in a preservation effort. The institute plans to complete the process by 2014.
