Welcome to Impact!


Impact is an award-winning television news magazine produced by journalism students at the USC Annenberg School for Communication.

Our stories are as varied as the students who pitch, report, shoot and edit them. Students also host and produce the show, which now airs on more than 50 stations in California and Nevada.

Impact has been honored with several College Television Awards in the documentary and news magazine categories from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.



Episode #46 - "Show 46"

This episode focuses on Southern California. In our first story, we learn about geocaching, a high-tech global scavenger hunt that's becoming a popular hobby. Our next story examines downtown Los Angeles, and tells the stories behind its famous buildings. In our final story, we learn the history of a California favorite--surfing.
